The collage design is pressed between two pieces of glass with a gold/brass frame and clasp. A slim green velvet ribbon is attached.
Finished size of gold frame is 6" square.
Remember: this is a one of a kind item!
I use various mounting papers and deckle edge card stock; some finished pieces have two or three layers of background paper. For the torn papers in the collage I use vintage French papers and documents as well as vintage botanical images.These papers are torn and placed behind the flowers.
These collage pieces are such fun to make! As a designer I love the variety of the pressed flowers combined with papers.
And be sure to keep them away from direct or bright light.
